This notice explains what information Machinery Lubrication India processes when you use this website, contact us or request a subscription.
We use the information you submit to answer you, manage subscriptions and operate the publication website.
Our website forms are processed through HubSpot, the site is hosted by Vercel, and a configured email service sends form confirmations and requested updates. We do not currently load a separate audience-analytics script in the website pages.
Information you provide
A contact enquiry can include your name, work email, company, enquiry topic, message and the page or campaign route that led you to the form.
A subscription request can include your name, work email, company and edition preference. If you request a printed edition, it can also include your phone number, designation and delivery address. The newsletter form asks for your email address.
Each of these forms also records whether you selected the required permission, the wording and version shown with it, where it appeared and when the submission was made.
Technical information
When a form is submitted, the website sends the page title, page URL and IP address with the submission so the request can be attributed and protected from abuse.
Vercel, our hosting provider, may process operational request data such as IP address, approximate location, browser or device information, referrer, timestamps and service or diagnostic logs when serving the site.
The newsletter prompt uses browser local storage to remember when it was shown and whether a signup succeeded. It does not store the answers entered into the form there.
How we use information
- Respond to enquiries and route them to the appropriate publication team member.
- Manage digital and print subscription requests and send requested editions or occasional lubrication insights.
- Send a confirmation after a form submission.
- Attribute enquiries, prevent repeated or abusive submissions, secure the site and diagnose service problems.
- Maintain the publication's contact and subscription records.
Who processes information
Machinery Lubrication India and its publisher, VAS Tribology Solutions, handle enquiries and subscriptions. We use HubSpot to process website form submissions and maintain related contact records, Vercel to host and serve the website, and a configured email-delivery service to send confirmations and requested communications.
If a printed edition is arranged, relevant delivery details may be provided to a courier or fulfilment provider. Links to other websites and services are governed by their own privacy notices.
These providers may process information in countries where they or their service infrastructure operate.
Retention
Retention periods vary with the type of request, your subscription status, operational and security needs, and applicable record-keeping obligations. We review records in that context rather than promising one fixed period for every category.
Your choices and requests
You can withdraw permission for edition and update emails at any time by using an unsubscribe option provided in an email or by contacting us. You may also ask to access, correct or delete information associated with you. Some records may need to be retained where reasonably necessary for security, dispute handling or applicable obligations.
